Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog - I hope you enjoy my content and learning more about me. The sidebar on this page has some extra facts about me, whereas beneath you'll find my work history and prior education!

Ever since I was a young boy, I’ve been fascinated with computers. As I grew up I tinkered more and more with computers, networking equipment - you name it, I more than likely played with it (or disassembled it - sorry Mom and Dad). Unfortunately, I didn’t pursue this any further until much later in college, opting to chase Aerospace Engineering instead.

Eventually I found my way back to computers at Oklahoma State University, gaining a Bachelor’s in Management of Information Systems. This kickstarted my love of computers again - in my classes I learned how to set up corporate networks in VMs and perform some system administration tasks on servers. During this timeframe I also started my first tech-related job with the university - I worked a help desk job re-imaging computers for the Athletics department.

Now, I love to research and break computers in new and unique ways as a penetration tester. I frequently challenge myself by playing CTFs on sites such as HacktheBox. I start (and sometimes finish!) different projects, both security-related and not, exploring different aspects of automation and exploit development. Above all, I continue to learn and grow so that I can be the best breaker I can.

Outside of work, I'm a husband, a cat dad, a runner, and a gamer. Notably I'm working on improving my half marathon time from my first time (2h:20m:24s) down to under two hours so that eventually I can take on a full marathon, and eventually (hopefully) a Boston-qualifying time.
